It's not a restaurant, it's no café either, we are a Social Club. Be welcome, be surprised and endulged. Food from around the world, a new generation cocktails as well as a broad assortiment in drinks, alcoholic as well as non-alcoholic.

What will I get?
We decided that we won't fit a profile as farr as a formula goes. If you'd ask team Jiwa at least.
This means we do have dishes and cocktails you know, for sure, it's perhaps kind of our base. But we do promise you we will surprise you with some new ones too, from anywhere around the world.
We will adapt often. So we serve what's on for at the time.. who knows, perhaps it's a BBQ formula or American focused diner?
Share some nice drinks accompanied by Indonesian and Latin-American snacks or would you rather dine with South-African & Korean dishes?
Or enjoy a daytime coffee with some dessert, as if we're in France or the US even.

Ok it may be true: a social club is usualy found in a metropole of size. But we think Jiwa's right at it's place here in Woerden, as there's more than meets the eye here. Very traditional at times, but definitely open to explore and enjoy too. That's our aim.

Andrew & Junior combine a resume extending over 50 years of hospitality experience.
From the bar to fine dining restaurants. On a gastronomical level Andrew’s the base with his enormous experience.
He’s literally cooked around the world and has enriched his knowledge from cultures first hand. Exploring some of their secrets.
Everything will pass by, from different regions and contrasting flavours. Come to enjoy some good meat, but surely vegetarian and vegan food’s on the menu as well.

We’re looking to set a nice vibrant ambiance where you can get together,
focussed on having affordable yet high-quality surprises coming at you.
